Piano cabin cleaning

Every piano that enters our workshop undergoes a thorough cleaning of the interior of the piano cabinet. This process ensures the removal of dust that accumulates over time and improves the appearance of the interior of the instrument.

This process includes:

  • Internal key bank cleaning
  • Cleaning and polishing of metal parts of the key bank
  • Frame cleaning
  • Floor cleaning
  • String cleaning

Cleaning keys

The side wooden parts of the keys are carefully cleaned as well as scratches removed from the upper surface, combined with polishing with specialized ointments.


Cleaning the piano mechanism

The mechanism cleaning process includes:

  • Removing dust from felts
  • Cleaning hammers
  • Cleaning braces
  • Skin cleansing
  • Removal of oxidation from metal parts and polishing

Retouching hammers

One of the most specialized piano timbre improvement work. It takes subject matter knowledge and adds years of life to the piano.


Piano mechanism service

The service process includes:

  • Tightening of screws and moving parts (Flanges of rafters, scapamens, etc.)
  • Rebound plate clamps for better rehearsal
  • Replacement of stem capsule cords if required
  • replacement of struts if required

Polishing of furniture - hinges - pedals

A detailed polishing of the metal and brass parts of the exterior of the piano is done making it literally like New.


Toning – stringing

Each piano, depending on its quality and character, is strung and tuned to produce the best possible sound quality. Our more than 25 years of experience guarantees a result that exceeds the upper limit of the piano's capabilities.
