Highlight – Retouch hammers

Tuning is usually done on new pianos, when changing the hammers of a piano as well as on old piano hammers if the customer does not want a change, although we strongly recommend it.

Tuning is done so that the piano gets the best possible sound at the right volume. With the right tuning, the piano can become sweeter, more expressive, more introspective, or louder. In any case, however, it adapts to the customer's requirements and his special needs.

Retouching is done on old hammers where there is no immediate need for a change and we extend (if possible) the life of the hammers by a few more years giving a little "life" to the sound.
