The best and most expensive hammers of the German company RENNER are placed in our repairs. Depending on the piano, they are placed at the ideal size and weight. In many cases, and to ensure the best possible result, we special order the production of hammers exclusively for you. We prefer to shoulder the extra cost in order to get the best possible sound.

As a second preference, we choose hammers from the also German company Helmut Abel. This is when the customer wants something marginally cheaper, or the customer likes that company's hammers, or better suits the character of the piano, which happens quite a few times.

We, in any case, have samples of hammers from both companies in almost all dimensions and weights, which we select by testing on the piano before repairing it, the optimal solution for your piano.
