The piano before
We took it upon ourselves to literally rebuild one broken piano. This particular piano EHRBAR of 1921, unfortunately it had been vandalized consistently seriously technical and structurally problems but also due to its storage in the past in temperature and humidity conditions unsuitable for a piano (it was located exactly next to an indoor pool). Specifically, his speaker was almost rotten and it was full of cracks. The mechanism was vandalized because it was in a public area but also the string keys and the strings they needed a change. Its glaze, it was a cosmetic change that was necessary to make it look like new.
Its repair process
THE reconstruction of the piano lasted approx 8 months. We started with her its complete disassembly, the filing of mechanical parts and export of strings, string keys and his metal frame.
General reconstruction of piano mechanism
The repair of the mechanism, due to its extensive wear and tear, he demanded redesign of mechanism geometry, as many parts were missing because they were broken. Was held change of hammers (RENNER Germany), of silencers (RENNERGermany), the inspection and installation of axles, the replacement of stave stem plates, replacement of shock absorber springs, brace replacement, brakes and against brakes but also replacement of silencer contact felt post scapamenda. Piano speaker repair

Repair of a bank of keys (keyboard)
The repair of the fingerboard included the replacement of the shell of the white keys with plastic, as the ivory was completely destroyed. The detail of our work however gave a real factory effect.
